Casey Ayers is the President and iPhone Development Director for MegatonApps, LLC. He believes that the iPhone is a revolutionary development platform with vast, untapped capabilities. Since 2003, Casey has served in various roles, including Editorial and Features Director for Advanced Media Network’s Kombo.com. Casey was one of the first industry analysts to declare the iPhone and iPod Touch to be legitimate contenders in the portable gaming arena and was quick to identify the iPod Touch in particular as a product likely to be marketed as an alternative to the PlayStation Portable and Nintendo DS.
Casey held the positions of Asian Economist and IT/Telecom Analyst in 2007-2008 for the Osprey Financial Group, an actively-managed investment fund entrusted with a portion of the University of North Florida’s endowment. While with the University, which is located in Jacksonville, Florida, Casey served as Student Director of the university’s Honors Program, where he was responsible for the development and execution of all student-related events for the program, including its innovative and unique freshmen orientation program. Casey graduated with Honors from the University of North Florida, with a Bachelor’s in Business Administration in Economics and Investment Finance.
After working in Control/Compliance for Deutsche Bank’s vanguard class of employees in Jacksonville, Casey chose to continue his education and focus on entrepreneurial opportunities by joining the Crummer Graduate School of Business at Rollins College, where he graduated recently with a Masters of Business Administration, focusing on Marketing and Entrepreneurship. At Rollins, he recently conducted a guest lecture for a graduate Human Resources class, where he helped Evening MBA Program students understand how they could apply social networking tools as both a job candidate and as HR managers.A lifetime gamer, Casey is also a dedicated fan and season ticket holder of the Jacksonville Jaguars and is a classically-trained pianist with more than fifteen years of performance experience.
Sean O’Neill
Sean O’Neill is the Vice President and Social Media Director for MegatonApps, LLC. Sean has been a key member in the growth of several companies. In 2002, he co-founded Advanced Media Network, parent company to Kombo.com and a portfolio of entertainment-related web properties. Kombo has been featured in reports by CNN, BBC News, The Washington Post and other world-class news sources. Kombo provides a unique voice for the gaming industry that delivers in-depth information relevant to both industry veterans and relative newcomers.
Sean also served as the Creative Marketing Manager for DriverSide.com, a Web 2.0 environment rich in car ownership advice, services and analytics that empowers car owners to make important decisions about buying, selling, servicing and enjoying their vehicles. Despite the historic volatility that has rocked the global credit markets, Driverside recently secured $5.3 million in Series B funding from Allegis Capital, which will help them continue to provide their valuable services to car owners while expanding their relationships with media outlets including Gawker Media’s Jalopnik, The Wall Street Journal, The New York Times, The Los Angeles Times and Popular Science.
Sean attended the Academy of Art University, with a concentration in animation, and has training in traditional illustrations, animation and story boarding. He received a number of awards while attending school for his work. He is currently enrolled in the Master’s Program at the Academy of Arts and looks to apply the creative knowledge he is obtaining to his future ventures.
Sean lives in beautiful San Francisco, California. He enjoys traveling in his spare time, when he isn’t indulging his interests in film, animation and sports, or working tirelessly on his business ventures until four in the morning.
